This original worker’s cottage requires some propping up to bring it back to life.

It now has a two-storey extension that makes it an exceptional piece, beautiful to both look at and live in. Great skill and attention to detail was required for the precise measurements of the structural steel angled eaves. There is now a generous amount of light with commercial grade glazing, reflecting the polished concrete ground floor.

One feature that sits firmly in place is the polished bench tops, which required craning in. Looking back at this home, it definitely gives that ‘colorbond’ moment.
